Skip to main contentBiographyAn enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville, Feddersen was born in 1953 in Omak, Washington, where he currently lives. In 1979, Feddersen obtained his Associate in Arts from Wenatchee Valley College; in 1983, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Washington; and in 1989, a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. From 1989 to 2009, he was an art professor at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. In 2009, Feddersen was the recipient of the John H. Hauberg Fellowship from the Pilchuck Glass School. He retired to his hometown of Omak, to work full time as an artist, creating prints, mixed media, basketry, and more recently, glasswork. Feddersen is considered a master printmaker.
